Body Mass Index (BMI) is a person’s weight in kilograms divided by the square of height in meters. A high BMI can be an indicator of high body fatness. BMI can be used to screen for weight categories that may lead to health problems but it is not diagnostic of the health of an individual. Sugarmedown use BMI to determine if our programme will help. As a lifestyle change programme rather than a “diet” when you join and reach your target you can still enjoy membership. Your programme will be targeted to remain at a guide BMI of between 21 and 28 depending on your goals.
